If it’s old and dusty…you have my attention! My fascination with antiques and art started at the age of nine, when my family and I moved to England in a great old Tudor house. Packed with antiques, carved panels, secret rooms and even a secret passage, the house was a haven of old dusty things. Ever since then I have bought, sold, valued and held lectures about antiques.

As I have travelled, worked and lived in a number of different countries, I have gathered knowledge about antiques from around the world and have also through the years, gathered in-depth knowledge about how the various markets work and operate. I can therefore say with sincerity, that I don’t know a lot about one thing, but I know a little about a lot of things. And to the things where I know very little or nothing…I know a man who does (yes that was a 1980s AA commercial quote)! Because being a valuations expert takes a thirst for knowledge and the humility to admit that you don’t know everything; which is why having a broad network of trusted and knowledgeable colleagues is so vital to not only the expert, but more importantly the client.

TV & Lectures
Through the years I have appeared on various television programmes on Danish National TV and consulted a number of different TV stations in the ideas process for new antiques related programmes. For Danish National TV I have appeared on the programmes Auktionshuset, Hvad er det værd, Kontant and Antikduellen, and I have been cast for a number of other programmes, including Skat Eller Skrammel.
In England I have done lectures on investing in antiques and art, as well as the influence on technical innovation in the art world at among other venues The British Library.
